Chuckles and Fairy Rings

Here is a brief video from someone who found a brand new fairy ring in his back yard...

The comments under this particular video on youtube are priceless. A funny one from autumnenergy:
"DUDE !!! I cannot believe you picked that mushroom and then just threw away ! You are so lucky the Fae didn't kick your butt for that !!!!
DO NOT walk inside a fairy ring
DO NOT pick mushrooms from a fairy ring
DO NOT use iron around a fairy ring
I am glad you are safe. Just remember to pay them respect. They left something very beautiful in your yard. Next time that happens, leave a bit of tobacco next to the ring (NOT inside) and little pieces of cloth. Blessings to you LUCKY GUY !"

(I like the not using iron part)

Simplicity

I searched for "circle" on youtube. This came up on the first page, so I'm posting it. Who doesn't love The Lion King, huh?

I cheesily, just cried. More collaborative mandala pieces are coming soon, but until then, check out this link. An artists who uses nature as a medium. (sometimes in the shape of a circle)

Birds of a Feather

What I did here, was duplicate Heather's original art, and make the circle a bit smaller, so that everything was symmetrical. Then I added some color, envisioning the circle as the sun, or a fire ball (Ring of Fire). What Heather did was use her imagination. (I am sooo getting shown-up by her.) She made colored wings on paper, and then glued them on. Then she glued even more stuff on. It's sort of Harley Davidsonesque, but a very good solution, I'm happy with what I got here, and happy to expand upon it. And I'm not too worried about the (lack of) what I sent to Heather this round because, guess what? That's the mandala I get to ultimately "finish". The finishing seems like the best fun, and I am a perfectionist. That last round may take me forever.
